Picked me up a new driver.
Found this jewel on CL and picked it up. Flew out and drove it home 13 hours. One owner with only 111,000 miles. 5.9 cummins. I have always liked the square bodies. Turned down 3 offers last week to buy it. So far I'm super happy with it, got 20mpg on the way home.

Yeah. Not a spot of rust anywhere. Even the interior is super clean and not wrecked. A/c still works good.

You planning to leave it as is or is there some modding in store? I can't leave things alone personally.

It's a 1990. Pretty much bone stock. I might do a few small things to it to turn it up a little. Nothing big.

Looks nice. Â Does the bed dump?

Re: Picked me up a new driver.
I am seeing a two tone red and white with 17" white walls and moon caps. Â Trim on the sides removed along with the bumper guards. Billet horizontal flat bar grill and classic chromed mirrors. Chrome the bed parts and finish the wood sides with a rounded off end. Â The boards should get longer as they go down. Â I see an awesome rendering opportunity here! Â lol...

Just an oversized flatbed. 8x10. Not a dump.
Not sure where my mind will take it but want to keep my focus on the chevelle.

That's a really neat & cool truck ! The Cummins is likely good for another 150 K + miles too..

Re: Picked me up a new driver.
Went to local sawmill yesterday. Guy sells bundles of slabs from what they milled. Cut them to use for my outdoor furnace. Pretty cheap and easy way to get wood. Prob could have held another bundle but will go back with a trailer next time.

Them would be cool to make a Rustic privacy fence and would last a lot longer than the processed stuff from lumber yard
