Beautiful car! Interesting...I don't recall ever seeing a Monte without A/C. Gotta love the vintage CB, too!

Looks pretty much like a twin to mine with the exception of A/C, red seat belts and turbine wheels. Mine even had white mud flaps when I got it...also, a GM bumper hitch! Oh...and, a bug shield...lol!

Ah come'on! That is what my interior will look like when it is done (hopefully as nice anyway). I even had the same setup in high school and it survived without any issues.

White interiors are classy IMHO...but, I can see where they would require considerable maintenance to keep clean on a daily driver. Mine isn't a D.D...and, it looks as pristine now as it did when I bought it in '96...with very little effort.

That's a nice one! Cool article too- the owner bought it 77 when the dealer tried to sell him on a 78 that they hadn't even seen in person. Smart choice.

He also said he wished he'd sprung for Air conditioning. I've never seen one without A/C either.

Ive seen them without AC. There was a guy here in town with a 74 3 on the tree and no air. It was really mint but the dude converted it to a th350 which was weird because it was so unique.
