Might want to consider marketing that piece. Dont find the NOS versions coming up with any regularity...if so , they would be a fortune.
Besides....once the color is on the car ...paint to match...or polish the unit based on material.
Either way...a great alternative.

It's not hard to do. I used 1 1/2x 1/8 CR steel. I want to paint it the same color than the body. I chose steel for the easy way. I weld bolts behind to fix it. Stainless or aluminum can be a good thing to. Whit a good epoxy primer on, I think it was good for a long time.
