Window adjustment 77 elky

Post by braunicus on Sun Aug 23, 2015 10:51 pm

Just redid the weatherstripping and the window won't line up. I'm fighting a few things like a rotted out lower regulator bolt hole, worn rollers, and bad door hinge pins. Thinking I'm missing a bot to loosen since the back won't go into the right position no matter what adjustment I try to make

Window Adjustment

Obviously, you have a few issues that could affect the alignment. But, here are the instructions per the Chevrolet Service Manual for adjusting front to back.

WINDOW TILTED

-Loosen two bolts (A) and adjust by rotating glass until a constant distance is gained between front edge of glass and the windshield pillar. Retighten bolts A.
