Tranny shift linkage bouncing out of drive
Column shift linkage on the transmission bangs one of the primary tubes before the header collector, causing my malibu to go into neutral randomly. Anyone have any suggestions other than "bend the pipe", and "hold the column shifter down so it doesn't bounce out of gear" to alleviate this issue? Any aftermarket or ingenious ides for fabricating something so I can maintain the column shifter as well as not have this issue? Any input would be much appreciated.

Re: Tranny shift linkage bouncing out of drive
appears just from Pics wrong headers were used or the Bushing on the motor mounts are non existant, The Linkage should no way be that close
