Thry are both pretty nice cars. Both are a lot of dough, the 75 looks like it dosent need a thing.

I agree -- they're very nice cars and clearly had a lot of love and money lavished upon them.  That said, take it to BJ if you're after big bucks. No one on craigslist is going to give you 300K for anything.

There is nothing wrong with the price on the 1975. I've got $30,000 in my car counting the basic price of the body! Of course, nobody will pay big money for an Elky, especially the "inferior" 1974 model. JB

I guess I just don't understand why folks dump so much money into a car project, and expect to recover it when it's time to sell.....

I'm on my 2nd G3 Chevelle ( Malibu) and my 4th G3 El Camino. Just don't like the late ones, but I do like the '70 thru '72 ElCaminos and Chevelles....

Back in the 80s, I had a '83 company car where I worked, an '83 El Camino.....a real piece of crap in my opinion, and it was nice to drive my own home after work...a '77 Elco Classic that I bought new...

I thought that the '69 Camaro was the hot high-priced year ??? I had an '86 new...OK but nothing special....

No doubt 70s cars are gaining popularity and value lately, especially the Trans Am and the split bumper Camaros.

That 70 might be worth 30, but I doubt it. The z28 and SS/RS cars are bringing those prices, in orig condition. And if the really put it up for $300,000
he's bananas.

But the 75 Camaro is one of millions produced in that body style. Granted, that one is more or less a new car, but why anyone would want it for 27k is beyond me, especially when they are lying around everywhere for 5k and more than a few really nice ones for 15 or less.
