73 SS gauge bezel question
Gentlemen. What is supposed to illuminate on the bezel in the 2 rectangular holes above the tach and speedometer?

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
Why would my car have a tailgate warning light?

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
Same bezel used for the wagons. Monte's have it too. Just not hooked up in our cases. I repurposed mine to show other indicators.

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
Weren't all SS cars tach and gauge clusters?

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
Not all ss cars had a tach. They could.have a fuel gauge in place of the tach and idiot lights in the small round holes.

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
Would the wiring harness be the same at the cluster plug?

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
I would assume not since the fuel gauge is in different locations between the two clusters.

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
That explains why I had a hard time replacing that aftermarket rats nest that was in my car when I bought it.

Re: 73 SS gauge bezel question
oof that's a headache just looking at it! Toggle switch with light. So far every project car I've bought had an old toggle switch still hanging around. Including my current 73 SS.
Too many JC Wittney catalogs over the years encouraging owners to hack into the cars to add fog lights or whatever other B.S. that was the fad of the day....
