that car doesn't have a V16- it's a car with a pair of V8's. nothing new there.
----this car(click here)------ has a V16.

here is a V16 that is based on a pair of 350 blocks welded end to end. i'm not sure who it was, but there was a company that was casting and selling these things..

on the subject of multiple engines- how about this one. 4 Buick Nailheads and AWD on a dragster from the early 60's.
and the guy was a tv star, too.

If I remember correctly, that is the amazing Mr. Tommy Ivo. I went to his final run in his four wheel drive, four big block powered dragster at Indianapolis Raceway Park. It was the most incredible thing seeing a car doing a 4wd burnout- at 150 mph!!! Twisted Evil

Here's a link to a pic of it sitting at the NHRA Museum. It's actually the car that broke his back during a run many, many years ago. What kinda balls do you need to drive something like that???
