I cannot find this in any wire schematic I have.

Re: Where does this go?
I'm going to guess your HVAC controls don't work.
The BRN wire is a + feed from the fuse box (A/C HTR fuse), and goes to "C60", which I believe (based on the actual circuit numbers in the diagram cuz the connectors themselves are not labeled ) is either:
A) the connector for the main HVAC selection control lever (i.e. A/C, heat, vent, defog, defrost). So that might plug into an empty socket on that connector.
B) a single inline connector that has two yellow spliced wires on the other side of it.
The more I look at it, the more I think it's B. Do you have a pair of yellow wires spliced at the end in a connector hanging loose somewhere under the dash?
The PNK wire simply comes along for the ride and siphons off power for the generator light, which the alternator would turn on (via its own BRN wire, which is where it goes from the dash light) if it detected a problem.

Re: Where does this go?
I do have a plug w 2 yellows hanging loose. Some one had a jumper wire from this to the yellow wires plug so I thought this couldn't be where it is supposed to go.

Re: Where does this go?
HVAC is messed up anyway. Missing components and cut vacuum lines under the dash. I might get the stuff for a/c delete and convert it.

That's weird. This thing is supposed to be plugged directly into that connector. I wonder why someone would use a jumper instead of just plugging it back in where it belongs? I can't even think of a reason to be messing with it in the first place.

If you want to fix it, I can go through the electrical with you. I'll leave the vacuum lines to someone else. I think Steve's good at those IIRC.

Re: Where does this go?
I am going to leave it as is for now. There is only one fan speed with those wires connected and no fan when switched to high speed. Just trying to get this thing back together for my daughter so she can go somewhere without fear of a dead battery when she gets back to the car.
