I am getting close to finishing up (what I am going to do for now) my 77 Malibu, the duals are done, Sounds awesome!!. the rally wheels have been blasted and painted, now to the trunk. What paint do you all use for the trunk? I have looked around at local auto parts stores and nobody carries the correct paint. What brand/ color combo is correct?

Everything I've seen, especially spray can stuff, has to be clear coated or it wont last and will be effected by moisture especially if you have a trunk mat.  Condensation will cause it to lift unless clear coated.
I read that Zolatone was what the factory used.  I just shot some today and its excellent.  No clear coat required and dries hard.  It comes in all colors.  Black/Aqua is correct for 73.

I posted pics of my trunk earlier today.  https://www.g3gm.com/t8584p150-1973-chevelle-ss-350-4spd-build
