Re: Where are you at picture
Sure! I'll take some measurements and pics of my firewall for reference.

Re: Where are you at picture
Hey 77Mali, that pic is with no engine. The BBC will set it down in the front for sure. I had a chance to work on the car some last night and some this morning, while my 13 year old daughter was at a cheer competition in which her team won a National Championship. (Insert proud Papa picture here please) I worked on my inside the trunk amp mounts: one for each side, and the trunk lid panel that hides the sound deadner. I may or may not cut in the S3 logo I made but it is in pics for reference. All wood will be covered in black felt.

Re: Where are you at picture
I’m in the middle of a carpet replacement that apparently is also a front driver floor pan replacement and 4 speed shifter jump replacement

Hey. That’s cool. I still have to cut my floor to get the 6-speed in. Do you have a console for your car?

That console is worth a mint now. G3chevy let me see his this weekend. We were talking about finding someone with a 3D printer and seeing if they could be made.
I like the boost controller. You are going to love those tires. I saw a show where they made some Nitto drag radials just for the new Dodge Demon. They even have the logo on them. In the manual it tells you to use the line lock and do a 10 second burnout. I thought, "10 second burn outs, 10 second quarter mile passes, 10 trips down the strip=new set of tires." Fun way to live.

You saw the ghetto I live in. It's as bad as Detroit over here.

Didn't even notice. I was fixated on the eye candy in the driveway and in the garage.

Re: Where are you at picture
Some new pics and updates. Pics are hard to see because everything is black, black, black. I also purchased an MSD starter, duel feed fuel line for Holley, heater core, big block motor mounts, LED lights for the rear, and some other things.

Trunk with sub box, amps and racks, trunk cover

Driver side with amp rack and Kicker 800.4

Passenger side amp rack and Kicker 1200.1

Truck cover. Hides sound deading and smooths out look.

Re: Where are you at picture
Thanks Limey. It makes the truck look way better. I had put sound deadner on the inside of the trunk lid to calm a possible "Oh my, the trunk of that car sounds like a monkey hitting a metal drum with an aluminum bat" situation. Cleans it up real nice.

Trunk is complete as well as the package tray. Now for some seats and interior. I was just sitting there awhile ago daydreaming. (See the seat belts g3chevy? Thanks)

Re: Where are you at picture
Started with this
Ended up with this.

That was a lot of work. Nice little black leather kit for the wrap. Took hours. Painted wheel with some bumper and trim molding paint I had on the shelf. That crappy brown wrap from the 70's had to be sanded off. I have about 3 hours work just in this steering wheel. Way better than spending $299 for a "decent" replacement.

Re: Where are you at picture
Thanks to all. I had to order the kit. The auto parts store only had the one's for a size B steering wheel. I did the measurements and we have a size A wheel. So, back to eBay. It has one little place on the bottom at the very end of the long installation ordeal that tries to bunch up. Other than that I can't be more pleased. Saved me well over $200. Now for some body bushings...
