Wow.
I cancelled my account with them because of this crap, but I didn't know we were using it to upload here.

Is this gonna kill G3GM?

I don't fully understand how all this works. I've used Photobucket once or twice...maybe have 3-4 photos stored on it. Otherwise, I'm attaching photos from my computer files on this site.

Me too. But a lot of my post photos from the past have disappeared. I'm guessing that somehow when we uploaded, something had to do with PB.

I suppose when Dan set it up years ago, he used PB for most of the graphics.

well i think i got everything back to normal. Used a new image hosting site that is affiliated with forumotion who hosts this forum. hopefully no more issues like that. If you happen to see anything i might have missed let me know.
Thanks

Appreciate it, Dan!

Can't believe Photobucket thinks it's good marketing to plaster their "Upgrade Now" bulletins all over a site like this to the point of disruption. One of the biggest reasons I never used them is all the pop-up ads I had to wade thru when on their site. Good riddance is all I can say...

Based on what I've seen in the last week, I'd say you can kiss PB goodbye shortly.
Lots and lots of REALLY mad people.

I only had about 75 pics there. I used it sporadically, mostly just to post stuff to forums.
Fortunately, nothing was there that I didn't have saved elsewhere.

Plenty of Amazon and Ebay sellers are in deep trouble and will probably have to pony up the $400 at least for a while.

I have a couple thousand and pay them $6/mo. I guess I'll start moving photos over to snapfish. My wife uses them for all her photos.
