15x10 with 3.5 backspace fit with disk brake conversion?
I would love to put 15x10s at the rear but I'm converting to rear disk brakes and since most vintage wheels only had 3.5 backspace would they fit under the rear fenders at stock spring height or with a lowering spring ?

what wheels you talking most makers will make the back spacing you need but will need to be at the very least 4.5" and if with lowering I would say 5" to 5.5" bs

Re: 15x10 with 3.5 backspace fit with disk brake conversion?
US Mags Indy U101 15x10 5-oval slot wheels. I have a vintage set of Western 15x8.5 5-holes but one has a small crack and the chances of finding someone local to repair it is very low so If I can't locate a replacement and have to buy new I'm contemplating a larger width on the rear. The U101 15x9s have a 4.5 backspace so I'll take a look at those. Thanks for the input! :-)

You may want to do more research , but I think your fitment issues will mostly relate to your disc brake conversion.
I am not so sure that the caliper is going to fit with that diameter of rim (15"). (17" rim is probably going to be the next step) .

X2. Most disc brake conversions will not fit inside a 15" wheel.

Good to know. I'll check that once I get them installed and reexamine the issue. Thanks!

Depends on the size of the rotor. A 11" rotor will fit in a 15" wheel.
Also you may want to go with the 9" wheel with 5" backspace, the 4.5" backspace wheel will be really close to the outer fender lip with a 275/60 tire.
