1974 Malibu interior
Hello all,
I'm looking for all of the Panels, uppers, sides, fronts and sail panels, preferably Black. I have most of them and I tried painting them but they came out like crap. Ive searched everywhere like EBay, Craigslist and no luck whatsoever. My Headliner, carpet and seats are installed and I just need to buttton it up with all the plastic.
I'm up for suggestions. Thanks.

Hi Did you use the prep before painting the plastic pieces ! I repainted all the plastic parts in my '74 Malibu, from tan to Firethorn red, and they came out fine, and that was like 12 years ago..

Yup. I'd clean 'em up and try again. Use SEM, OER or duplicolor dye. Satin is best. They look really good. Much cheaper and like you said, sometimes those panels are a bear to find. I'm working on some door panels now myself. Dyeing mine dark saddle from buckskin and black.
