Re: 76 S-3 Eastern West Virginia - $5500 with lots of free rust
He Might have been droppede on the head as a baby. This is a parts car at best due to the rust. The roof alone needs total replacing. The fenders are gone, the floors and trunk is toast. And i know that hen you take it appart you will find alot more rust issues. The interior is beat to hell and it dosent run. So its pretty much just for parts. Only good thing is that every thing is there and original.

Love this color combo, too. I've been thru this scenario with my now parted '76 Laguna. Rust gets so bad in the back half that it's hard to find any solid metal to weld to from the rear floor pans back if you even wanted to tackle a project like this. I doubt he'll find a Buyer who's interested in such an extensive project when you can buy a similar car in much better condition for far less money.
Unfortunately, I would agree...it's become nothing more than a parts car at this point.

Sad to see such a collectable car in this condition. Even more sad is the fact he's unrealistic about what its worth. There's a few things in his description which are not correct or misleading. This car has been repainted which is obvious since the clearcoat is peeling off and the stripes are not correct. The stripes should narrow as they meet the front fascia which this does not. And I've never heard of a 2 barrel "Quadrajet". Quad means four. If he has any chance of selling this he would be wise to spend a few dollars to get it running and he may get half his asking price. Best of luck to this guy and hope he gets his engine for his 77.
