They are all hot rods brothers. It's either a car, or it's a hot rod. The difference is how the owner treats his/her car... that's it.

Why the hell do we have to put labels on everything? Every car is different, with it's tweaks and character... why would you want to build a car to fit into someone else's definition of what it is or what it should be.

Build your car, and classify it as "my car." If you enjoy the process and enjoy the outcome, you have succeeded.

I'm going with BlackChevelleSS on the Pro-Touring thing. That Camaro is the epitamy of that kinda car. It's really about a car that handles turns very well, and it's gotta have big friggin' tires. If the suspension works well enough from the factory, there's no point to change it up too much. Being fast is just a given. Yep.

It doesn't just apply to Camaros, cause let's face it, every douche and their grandma (no offense to those douches or their grandmas, it's just a phrase) has a Camaro. Hell, a Vega could be a pro-touring car! It's just gotta be really fast and have huge tires and can cut a corner like nobody's business.
Is that not a fair compromise on the subject? After all, the way a car's defined is all up to the owner...

i love that car. i saw it on craigslist and it was very cheap but instead of buying it i e-mailed the guy and told him he was crazy to sell it that cheap, he said oh i didnt know what to sell it for and that he didnt realize there was really anyone who liked these cars anymore, he ended up upping the price tho.

TRUST ME!! i've owned the car since 1986 (i was 15) and it has NEVER or will NEVER be on craigs list!! just out of curriousity how much was i selling it for? lot's of blood sweat and tears went into this car, they're gonna bury me in it. affraid
