Just get the Impala 9c1 Police taxi package from an Impala 1" and front from like a 74 ish Trans Am and get 1 1/4"
I also believe I just seen a guy get QA1 sway bar and had to get there Bars also for it was a Side mount compared to our Normal of Bottom mount

Re: Rusty's progress Crossmember and trans done
I can use two of the four factory mounts with one being the main Seat belt hole and welded front corner bolt so will Have Plenty of strength behind it in case of an Accident (God forbid) Seats will be a good start, And daughter changed her mind yet again on Interior color she wants Oxblood like her Dash is, So with that My interior will get Full on Black and Car will Be triple black with the stripes, The family I bought the car from is working on them to replicate them for me, Unknowingly to me before He sent car here he Took a tracing of them and is gonna Have them replicated for me SO THAT MEANS when we get moved into House that may / may not have a garage I believe at winter time 2024, This 1977 Chevelle SE Will be coming off frame after i drive for a year or so. AND ALWAYS IF YOU READ THIS FAR SAY A HELL YEA PLEASE and dont forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel for Updates and Funny shorts I have one there now its Hilarious LMAO thanks for reading my book

However I see two different sizes listed for them 1 inch and 1 1/8 inch. Are people just mistaken or were there actually 2 sizes? I have searched repeatedly but can't find definite answer.
No worries buddy
There are two different sizes Yes BUT Impala ONLY was 1" to the best of my knowledge ........there are aftermarket ones I believe that go to 1.5" but thats just overkill in my book

To be clear I'm talking about the used sway bars from the 90s, not aftermarket. Yes I see at least three different sizes in aftermarket but I am only referring to listings of used 90s era chevy sway bars. So I gather from your statement that there may well be stock rear sway bars at 1 1/8 as well as as 1 inch depending on which chevy they were pulled from. To be safe then (1 inch) they Must come from Impala.
