Was your car built/assembled in a plant that built trucks? Using my Monte Carlo as an example, the plant my car was assembled at also assembled trucks. The significance of this is my AC/heater blower motor specs out for C10 pickups.

I had the same issue for the oil pressure switch. The connection they put in was for C10s not Chevelles.
