ls1 in our cars

Re: ls1 in our cars
I came very close to having one put in my 74. That was my first choice, but I could find no one willing to take on the job because of the complexity and newness of the job. Therefore I went with the big block. Now, with todays almost complete installation kits I wish I had waited. JB

Isn't the L-99 actually a baby LT-1, not an LS-1?
Anyway, I am heavily considering doing an L92 swap into my Monte, but am not fully sold on it yet though. Looks like this guy is ready to do the same thing to his 73 Regal: http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41320

Re: ls1 in our cars
LS definitely seems to be the wave of the future. The power they are capable of is just amazing.
I know this isn't a G-3, but I think it's going to be awesome. It's my buddy's latest project. 64 Studebaker Lark. Twin Turbo'd LS6 w/T-56 transmission.
I'm going to have to get on my piston swap and up the boost soon if I want to keep up with him.
