Something OTHER than a GM car?
If any of you are like me, you like ALL cars. GM cars are my favorite, but I like MoPar(2nd favorite) and Furd too. So, with THAT being said...if you could have a car(s) NON GM(Furd, MoPar, or an ORPHAN), what would they be...?
The list for me is SO long. I'll name a handful:
'61 Chrysler 300G Convertible with Cross-Ram intake - Red.
'46-'48 Plymouth P-15 Business Coupe - Black
'92-'95 Furd Taurus SHO.
'63 Furd Galaxie 500XL.
'51-'52 Hudson Hornet.

I love 71-73 Mach 1's. One of the nicest Mustangs ever made.
That 2010 is is sharp as hell too...I live about 2 miles from the Mustang assembly plant, and see them around here all the time. Love the sequential taillights. Got a lot of nice T-birds in my local area...not many Landaus with the suicide doors though...I love those ones

Re: Something OTHER than a GM car?
IF I MAY MAKE AN ADDITION TO MINE...!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2010 Dodge Challenger R/T. Plum Crazy purple, white R/T stripes, white leather interior with purple piping on the seats.
Saw one exactly like that at the NAIAS and fell in love with it. Plum Crazy is my favorite MoPar color...hands down. And those white stripes/interior set it off nicely!

And THIS...would be nice to have next to it

i think the b5 blue is probably the best factory color of the era, and maybe the best of all time. i love the GTX, might be my all time favorite car. a guy down the street from me has one, but its got a 383, car is still worth more than ill probably ever be able to afford...unless i wanted to live out of my car.

Re: Something OTHER than a GM car?
Are we talking realistically or money is no object? I could go on for pages listing all the cars I would like to own.
Money is no object would be simple:
Hemi Cuda, 2011 Shelby GT350, 1100hp Supra, or an M5 BMW
Here's my realistic list.... shortened up:
IH Scout or Scout II
(Own) Suzuki Samurai
(Owned, but want another) Eclipse GS-T Spyder or GSX
68 Plymouth Roadrunner
Might try out an 85-86 Stang one day
Furd Torino (I like most years, guilty)
85 Toyota 4x4
AMC Javelin
57 Plymouth Fury (Christine had a huge impact on me when I was a kid & I came pretty close to buying one)
(Owned) 74 Toyota Celica (1,800 lbs, rear wheel drive, 5 speed, & easy to turbocharge! Also dirt cheap to modify & easy to work on)
Early 70's Toyota Corolla (Even lighter than a Celica, lots of mod parts available)
There's probably a few more, but I gotta stop somewhere.

Re: Something OTHER than a GM car?
I would have to have a Furd GT40 or a Lancia Stratos. They're both kit cars that I hope to make some day.

Re: Something OTHER than a GM car?
No rice. All of mine were sleepers. I kept my Spyder mostly stock. Mainly upped the boost, done some other tinkering & kept it simple, but it still held it's own. Also had a 91 with a Super 16g pumping 18lbs of boost. Not gonna go into details on the motor, but I will say there is a few people out there still scratching their heads, lol. The Toyota was just a cheap $100 buy that I had some fun with, but ended up loving the miniature Mustang look & feel. What can I say, I like all cars.
