Now now boys just chill out and get along. You probably both worked hard for your cars and thats all that counts. We all have and I don't think this was a contest, just talkin about what we have owned or had at one time. Just be proud that your both young and respect the cars you have. Not alot of young men your age care about this style anymore and it's good to know your still out there.

Wow you guys, everyone grows up different. My dad didn't hand me anything and I learned from that. Thats why my 15 year old daughter and I are building this Laguna. To show her that it takes alot of hard work and money to have a nice car. Granted I fund most of it but she babysits and turns wrenchs on the car to learn the value of it. Thats part of learning value.

since my oldest was old enough to hold a wrench he was out in the yard helping me with my projects,he is now 15 1/5 and knows that it costs alot to drive and respect a car.he just got a job making 8.00 an hour,when i was 15 i think i made 3.75.

My dad tried to teach me the same way, but we were so broke growing up that he had to sell his 77 nova (wich was his daily at the time). In a way that taught me more about the value of a dollar than actually working on the nova with him. I still miss that car though. Sad
