Re: Damn, this is nice.
looks like a good solid start to a project.
the paint is worn out and faded, it's a bit dirty, and there is some surface rust on it.. but i don't see any rust that has eaten holes in anything, and the structural parts look good yet.
if it runs good, i'd just clean up the interior, throw down some carpet, put some cheap seat covers on it, and drive it.
i'd have to see 3 forms of id before saying anything about the girl, but what was up with that random shot of a later model Furd engine bay with a 4 cylinder in it?

Don't really care too much for the cougar, even though it's my brothers dream car. What I'd really like to know is the details on the SVO Mustang in one of the pictures!

Oh, the things people will do to sell a car...
I remember a few years ago when someone was trying to sell a very 90's-tastic S10 Blazer on eBay. The first sentence of the ad said "THIS CAR WILL GET YOU LAID!!!!!". I'm pretty sure it didn't sell.

Re: Damn, this is nice.
F.O.R.D."found on road dead" thats how i feel thats how they leave me on the side of the road in the arizona heat and i thought geting parts for our cars is hard try going to auto zone and trying to explain the difference between a 351 cleveland and a 351 windsor to those dumasses took me 5 tries to get a distributor for that car and that was after i went to napa, checkers, autozone, carquest, and everyother parts place in phoenix. finnally ended up rebuilding old one with stuff out of new one at 2 in the morning

Re: Damn, this is nice.
I used to be narrow minded, but to be honest here's my thoughts on F motors.
302 Windsors make awesome hp/ci & parts are as cheap as a SBC motor.
The F o r d Duratec motors are damn reliable & impossible to blow based on my experience. I've winded mine to 9,000 without a hiccup on several occasions.
One more word that makes me enjoy F o r d: Powerstroke. Do I even need a reason? Sure a Cummins would be a good challenger, but GM's Diesel isn't in the same ballpark.
GM should have been smart & kept Buick or Oldsmobile motors instead of the Chevy stuff. IMHO, both were built better.
