I think they killed opel too? The GT was the base for the Solstice here.
I know they sold Hummer and Sabb.
It only
GMC
Chevy
Caddy
Buick (thanks to China)
And
Holden.
That I know of.

Re: The true end of Pontiac
Saturn was supposed to be sold to Penske Automotive, but there was a falling out & GM decided to just cancel the brand.
GM was supposed to sell Hummer to a Chinese company, but China's government didn't allow the sale to happen (damn commies) so the brand closed it doors too.
Saab was sold to Spyker.
Opel is still a subsidiary of GM. They almost sold off 55% of the company, then backed out because it was a crucial pat of their "plan".
In all reality, why is GMC still around? That's my question.

Re: The true end of Pontiac
Rago, I have wondered the same thing. They should have axed GMC, and kept Pontiac and/or Saturn. GMC is useless. Its a re-badged Chevrolet.

yea id keep chevy, pontiac and caddy. the rest are usless. or if not pontiac at least there are holdens and they are better anyway (except pontiac old schools) IMO, they look sweet. look at the Pontiac G8 GXP then a Holden VRX-8/commodore and youll see what i mean. also holden has the ute/elcamino

I think they should keep Buick, It has class, They should have kept Pontiac, dropped GMC, and Opel (Really, just sell Chevy's overseas, why rebadge them) drop them.

Re: The true end of Pontiac
GMC has the better looking trucks anyways. Now we just need a GMC Trans Am or a Buick Trans Am
