Those were popular in the 40s and 50s. Do they cut the glare a bit ?

Most certainly JCW in the Volkswagen section if I had to guess. I still dig the shades better, but these do look neat.

We all had'em in the late 80s-early 90's too. Made a come back then along with pin-striping the hell out of everything.

Yeah and pastel colors... and tubbing every car on the road even if it didn't need it... and Sparkomatic tape decks with Pioneer 6x9s... and bad wheel trends....
Eyelids & pin-striping don't really fall in the above category, just being a smartass. Cat eyes would be another one to check out if you are into these things. Just stay away from the eyebrows, they belong on cars older than 1955.

Remeber the "blue-dot" tail light stuff? Thought I saw some of those recently, but I could have been hallucinating.
Seems like that was around the time everyone started lowering EVERYTHING. Some of those 70s cars looked really good like that.
Then again, some looked pretty stoopit.

Ah yes the blue dots. My first truck (68 SWB Chevy) had them. I still think they look good on some vehicles.

Yep. I've NEVER seen another Monte with those & always thought they looked cool. That's how I remember seeing your car in CC years ago & really liked them back then too.

i was going to do the dots.but they would not fit between the chrome strips across the lights. so i put a decal in them instead.

Blue dot are still popular in my neck of the woods. U mostly see them on late 30s-50s hot rods and lowriders.

Yeah, I don't think that blue dots have ever really gone out of style. They've been around since the 50's. I like 'em. I'm going to put a set into my 71 monte.

I have a blue dot on the tail light of my bike. It's illegal here in Wisconsin, but they've never pulled over anyone that I know of with the blue dot.
