Re: The Spotted Thread
Thats cool. I wish there were more of our cars around. I sure do get stopped a lot in mine. Some remember it and some have no idea what it is. I even had a guy that thought it was a dodge the other day.

Re: The Spotted Thread
that suprises me, everyone who comments about mine knows what it is. Now as for what year it is they are clueless, i've been asked if it was a '70 (by a cop who pulled me over) and a '76 from a guy at the gas station a few weeks ago.driveit wrote:Thats cool. The one I saw at Barrett Jackson a couple years ago was a 75.

I hope you did not verbally abuse the poor guy too badly. JBdriveit wrote: I even had a guy that thought it was a dodge the other day.

Definitely a '75. First year of t-tops on H/O's. Also, that interior sail panel design is unique to '75. How do I know? Two '74 H/O part cars came into my favorite yard a couple wks ago and I got a lesson on H/O's from the owner.

Re: The Spotted Thread

Speaking of Hurst olds' I found this Wednesday night at th curb (I scrap for extra $$$) I thought it was pretty cool. I always thought it was odd that Hurst olds' didn't necessarily have a Hurst shifter (but my Chevy does

I have been asked that many times. Then they say what are you doing down there when I squat to fill up the tank. The ladies say the gas goes in the back???
Its a hoot. I just educate them nicely one at a time.

I also have astigmatism and my daughter has it. It does not bother her much, but I have always had to relax my eyes often. JB

That was taking outside of Dallas TX on the way to HRPT... We were meeting up with another guy (probably the one who posted) at this truck stop.

Re: The Spotted Thread
If you were referring to the faux nomad, I believe that started out as a hhr, not a SSR. A hhr would have a ecotec four banger (possibly super charged) but no LS motors.JB2wheeler wrote:What? top does not go down anymore? At least it came with LS power. JB
