A couple local A-Bodies...
Known these guys a while. Saw them at a show today. I didn't take my Monte, though. I took my Plymouth.
This '73 GTO is an original owner car, and restored by the original owner. He also has a gold '73 GTO that is unrestored, that belonged to his step-father, I believe. This black one is pristine...
A clean '77 Monte that has been running around for quite a few years, now. He bought it pretty much as is, too.

I've always loved the looks of those goats, especially how the rear deck slopes down into the bumper. Your Plymouth is super sweet! Please refresh my memory; did you buy it from the original owner or something?

It was my grandpa's car. He bought it in June 2006. He passed away in October 2009, leaving it to me.
I think you are mistaking my Monte Carlo. I got it from a used car dealer, who got it from the estate sale of the original family.

THat little box right over P in Plymouth. What is that? You should put wide whites on that car .Would look sweet against the dark blue.

It's just a brochure holder, for brochures for the shop my mom's cousin works at.
And no, I should not put white walls on it. NO 1946-48 Plymouths ever came from the factory with white wall tires. They all has black wall, Goodyear Bias-Ply.

You have to work the word "ladies" into that sign somehow.

No kiddin no white walls ever. I bet it had something to do with the war being over and materials being in short supply, they do look good against navy blue though.

Re: A couple local A-Bodies...
Yep. The closest you could get, were imitation white wall trim rings.
Many people put them on, because they are still considered a "period accessory"...but I prefer without. At least on sedans. I like WW's on the coupes.
