Howdy from Texas
I posted this in the "introduce yourself" thread and thought maybe I should put it here too. Forgive me for double posting.
Howdy everybody! My name is Scott from Texas. Glad that I surfed into this forum. I am currently the owner of 3 Lagunas...a '74, '75, and '76. I started a rebuild of the '74 many years ago and, sadly, it has been in a dormant state for many years due to a sufficient lack of job. Hopefully I will get things back on track. The '75 and '76 are diamonds-in-the-rough for sure but they have a safe home here. Glad to be part of the group!

Re: Howdy from Texas
Welcome! You don't see a lot of lagunas. Years ago I had a 1975 Laguna S3. Be shure to post some pictures when you have a chance.

Both of mine came from Arlington as well.
I've been to Abilene a few times, I went to college at Tarleton State, so I'd make the trek to watch TSU play ACU in whatever sport.
Closest I've gotten to there with my 77 is Thurber as part of a rally.
did you have a green Malibu Classic that got crunched pretty badly or am I thinking of someone else?

Re: Howdy from Texas
No, that wasn't mine. I don't remember that guy's name but I remember the car. I did own a '77 lime green Classic for a couple of months, but it I sold it to make way for the '75. Probably not the best move as the classic was in better overall condition but the price was right for the Laguna.

Sweet!! I live 10 minutes south of I-20 in Burleson. We should try to meet up at the Little rd. car show in Arlington, it's just off I-20, no charge to enter, a LOT of cool rides show up sometimes up to 300+ when weather's good, and since it's going on every Friday you don't need to try to schedule months ahead.
Sorry got giddy there.
