Okay, looking for some experts here in weatherstripping for the 73-77 stuff only

Will the roof rail weatherstrip for a Monte fit a Malibu? What about Cutlass, El Camino, Regal, LeMans, Can Am, Grand Am, etc?

Do we know how many different weatherstrips were made for these cars, or does one fit all of them?

back line of the door windows are different. monte will NOT fit a malibu

This is correct. However, the interchange manual shows the following door glass to be the same...and, that would most likely indicate the roof rail weatherstripping would be the same among these models as well:

Chevelle/Malibu 73-77; except El Camino
Cutlass 73-74; except Supreme
Cutlass 75; except Supreme & Salon
Cutlass 76-77; except "S"
Century 73-74; excpet Luxus
Century 75-77; except Custom

Does your interchange give part numbers? I have a pair I got for my Malibu. The GM numbers are 9878786 and 9878787. I have a feeling these might be for the Monte only. Any chance you can tell me if I have the wrong ones?

Those are for a Monte Carlo...I've got a spare set just like them. I would think any of the Monte owners on here would be thrilled to take this pair of NOS weatherstrips off your hands. I said it once and, I'll say it again...nothing fits like NOS when it comes to weatherstripping. But sorry, don't have the GM part numbers for the Malibus.

Found them. GM pt nos. for '73-'77 2-dr Chevelles/Malibus are 9878788 and 9878789.

If anyone has a need for these, I'd let them go for 200.00. Thats what I paid for them. They are NOS in the box still. Email me if you think you can use them.
