Re: Formerly Owned
The tilt was steel. It was the original parts welded together. It fit nice. The problem was I would have had to strip it all down and see just what was under all the bondo. It was most likley done in the 80's and the bondo was cracking along the normal hood to fender, grill line plus the whole tail pan section. That grill was conduit and over 3" of bondo built up to form it. I really did not want to put that much time in it as it was not what I was looking for. I just rescued it from the crusher. It only had one seat in it and had a broken drivers window.Dash was missing, it Was missing carb and bunch of little stuff. I fixed it enough to drive it a bit with the parts form my malibu that were left over from making my own dash, then had to do ball joints tie rod ends and tranny slipped one day a little so I thought here we go I'm eighter going to keep it or sell it so I sold it. I broke even but had some fun with it. My wife did not care for it as much as a car so we sold it.

Re: Formerly Owned
Was not too bad. It had two chains to stop it from going all the way over. Had two hood latches on each side by the cowl from some other car ran to a secound emergancy cable pull inside. That was the bad part the door popper did not work one day so no way to get in. Then I found a D ring under front firewall area to pull and hood opened. It had two posts for power and a secound button wired to one pass door popper. Good thing for just that reason. I personally would never remove outsdie handles on any thing.

I want to say this thread has been rehashed a couple of times. LoL, don't ask me about my old cars though, because I've got 40+ vehicles under my belt & my DD changes like the weather.

Re: Formerly Owned
I hit a 84 Furd bronco, i just twisted his bumper. the worst part that it was a friday morning on 4th of july weekend, cause of the holiday it almost took a week for the insurance company to take it away
The passenger side of the windshield was damaged by the the door that the air bag pops out of. the driver side has a bubble, the back of my hand hit the windshield when i hit the truck. the paramedics thought i had cut my leg, I didnt realized that i was bleeding from my hand and my pants were covered in blood. My hand was bruised really bad, and for almost 2 years I was still find glass under my skin.
