I'm proud to say I've never owned a Furd!
Shelby was another player from the 60's that I respect highly.
Not many real car guys left...they don't make cars like they once did.
These guys were responsible for a whole generation of cars and people,the likes we will never see again.

I'm not a Furd guy either, since the flat head days, but Shelby did a lot for motor sports I figure.

There will be a three hour special on the life of Carroll Shelby on the Velocity Channel (formerly Discovery HD Theater) this coming Sunday night starting @ 8pm. I'm not a F*rd guy but have always admired Shelby as a racer, builder and businessman. I especially like to hear the Lemans story's and how a former chicken farmer and his gang from the U S A, defeated Ferrari- in Europe for the world championship. Shelby really got under Enzo's skin. My kinda guy.
