Fuel Tank Question
Since the B Bodied 89 Caprices used the same frame as our G3's i was wondering if the tanks are the same. My Holley blue pump is starting to intermittently take a
, and I wondered if the pickup dimensions are the same could I drop in a sender/pump from an 89 caprice and run it with that. From looking at specs on the tanks the only difference in dimensions is a 3/4" difference in tank height, length/width are exactly the same.
Since the Vortec motor in my 'Guna has no provision for a mechanical fuel pump I figured this would be the easiest way. If this seems feasible would I need to run a return from my regulator and if so can I use the old vent line for that?
