I've been wanting to do this for some time and keep coming back to this kit

http://www.ebay.com/itm/73-77-GM-A-Body-Door-Hinge-Repair-Rebuild-Kit-New-/330775501201?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AChevelle&hash=item4d03c19991&vxp=mtr

It's not more than what I am willing to spend and there are many other kits available at cheaper prices but this set looks real quality to me. Has anyone used this particular kit or can recommend a kit they used? I've bought from this seller before and have been nothing but pleased with his products... well, except for the Metro brand weatherstripping which was garbage but it was more so the manufacturer being at fault.

I had a shop do mine. It was just a pin and bushing kit from a parts store.

I have not seen ones like this with the roller on the bottom. I had to find a used hinges for my 73 just to get that roller. Let me know if you try this set out as I will need a set for my 74 down the line.

That kit is a good price, since it includes the snubber rollers. I rebuilt mine, by taking them apart & using an aircraft bolt for the roller pin, and new pins & bushings of course.

That's why I considered this kit. Only one I have found that has the rollers. I've tried Advance and Autozone kits in the past and allthough they did the job I will not go that route again.

Awesome hinge pila!
