I would imagine like many ... the upper originals got water damage, and rotted out, so he replaced them with another year.

If that guy restored that car its perfect. He knows what he's doing I've heard of him before many times and he's restored a few million dollar cars. I dont know about the door panels but for him to restore one is a sure sign the value is on the rise.

I wondered if it was a laguna turned into an SS. I'd figure a shop of this caliber wouldn't call one model by anothers name. It would be like referencing Bel-air to any tri five, just because.
