Had to buy a new washing machine today. The old one was a Maytag, that I bought new in 1978 ! Bet the new one wont last that long ! 34 1/2 years is a long time for an appliance. Sure got our moneys worth from that one !

Amen! My Kenmore 25 cu ft fridge is still running strong bought it right before we got married 23 years ago (made for Sears by Maytag back then-1989).
