Hello from France
Hi everyone, i'm 21yo, my name is Nicolas and i have a '73 Chevelle 350 SS since 1 year

She's matching numbers, but i have imported her from Quebec, got a lot of rust on the floors, "trunk floor" and on the tail panel, the frame is ok.
I have started the restauration since 1 month, but this is my first car restauration.
Nice to mee you, and sorry if my english is not perfect

Re: Hello from France
Bonjour Nicolas et bienvenue! From the front your car looks just like my '73 El Camino. If you're close to dept 52 (Haute Marne) I can refer you to a great restorer.

Re: Hello from France
Your English may not be perfect, but your choice in cars is pretty close. I could have bought one of those near me, but it needed more work than the 75 I bought for less money. Like earlier stated, I love that movie and saw it before I got my car, and just found mine by chance.

Re: Hello from France
Hi Everyone,
I come back to G3GM after juste one post and 3 years of absence.. Sorry !
Life is sometime complicated.. But I still have my 73 SS, and the restauration has started
I have started the restauration since 2 years (Complete disassembly and lot of pictures, sadly, the passenger side of my "burned by sun" dash was totally wrecked during the disassembly... Â
)
Today the Chevelle is in a professionnal garage since one year for just some welding job (floors, NOS tail panel and trunk pans) because i'm not equiped for this job and i need some training to do something good !
But since my Chevelle is in this garage, nothing happen !!! And i'm losing my patience Â
, I gonna take back my car and do the job myself or find a good restorer !
Anyway, I gonna open a new topic about my restoration
I need your opinions, some tips and i'm looking for parts ...
Thanks a lot, and sorry again for my absence (and my bad english
 )
Here a picture of the car before she sleep one year for nothing... (The engine was remove, and it is actually in total rebuilt)

Re: Hello from France
Welcome here MrEddy. I too am sorta new here. Only about nine months or so. It's a shame when you take your car to someone that is suppose to do work on it and you trust they will, and then they do bad things to your car and you. It happens everywhere in the world. It sucks! Good luck on your project and ask any question you like, these guys, and gals, are a great bunch of people.
