Re: Met a new G3r
These parts are hard to come by in good condition. There's a 74 wagon dash near me that has no A/C & sweep gauge set up but is in perfect condition. Just won't fit the bill for my car for the look I'm going after & I'm keeping the A/C even though I know I'll hardly ever use it.

He said he'd take $200 for it (LOL). Nice guy too but I don't have the space right now & other priorities in terms of $$$ to spend for Ol' Mali Mc Bu.

Re: Met a new G3r
Thanks ant7377! I can tell you this... the GA sure feels good on the road. It seems to ride a little smoother than the Chevelle, and it corners flatter too. Now, that is stock with just new KYB shocks, & I know you can tweak 'em to be like you want. The Pontiac 400 w/ Quadrajet combo gets better all around milage than the 350 w/ Carter 625 set up I have in the Chevelle too. Probably the bigger torque number can get the car rolling without using as much fuel to do it.

Re: Met a new G3r
arent the GA's more like the monte then the chevelle? if so that would explain the ride. pontiac and buick where known for taking what was working in say the chevelles and montes and combining them to try to have the bestof everything
