I absolute love it .... I saw one just like it when I was a kid.

the car is located just south of Chicago, in the Northern Indiana "Region"

If I had funds anywhere near the asking price, I would jump on it !

That is really a nice car!!! I don't think the price is bad at all. Restoring one would cost almost twice that, to be that nice.
And what can we buy these days for $8500 ? A new mid-size is about $22,000 +, and wont be worth much in 6 to 8 years etc.

Excellent looking Cutlass! Although I do wonder why the passenger side sport mirror is missing? I always thought that when bullet style mirrors were used this meant drivers & passenger side had mirrors for the "Sport Mirrors" option. Question
