So different than the way they write articles today, unless its a car guy car all they talk about is the crap "features" that a new mini van has.

Cool find.
John Delorean is often overlooked for his contributions to GM, maybe because of his later personal issues & the failure of DMC. It's interesting that the article has given him well deserved credit, he seems not to be remembered in today's Hobby outside of the Delorean brand cars.

Re: MOTOR TREND CAR OF THE YEAR-------1973 MONTE CARLO
John Delorean was great for GM.He helped mass market the Muscle Car as we know it. Too bad he got caught up in all that crap from his own car,I hate those things by the way.I would have expected much more from the guy than a Volvo powered counter top with 4 wheels POS.

I think john delorean might be more remembered for cocaine trafficking than a failed car company.

Re: MOTOR TREND CAR OF THE YEAR-------1973 MONTE CARLO
Delorean was living the high life in the 80's, he got caught up in a lot of bad stuff. He should have stayed with GM...he might have had a chance but I think they got sick of his BS.

You're right, if it wasn't for back to the future, nobody in 2013 would remember that they ever existed.
like a le car, citation, caravelle, etc.
