G3 Tach Repair/Rebuild
For help w/ your stuck-@$$ Tachometer
Check out the Tach Man
He switches out the GM electronics on the back side of the unit for an updated style if yours is stuck (shorted out). He actually shows a 73-77 Chevy tach on this page (scroll down). I believe you'll be able to bypass the circuit board with new 3 prong switched-over rebuild much like the store bought units from Autometer, etc.
