What I noticed the most from that site, and what ended up driving me away was all the A$$ kissing and favorites. I mean out of all thousands of users, i was of very few females. So you would think that since the average age was like between 40 and 55, you would be dealing with mature parents and grandparents. Instead you felt like you were associating with a bunch of high school geeks that didn't know which end was up.

Yeah, Grumpy's a stand up guy. He'll do right by you and he doesn't suck up to anyone over there. He has his own performance forum as well, BTW. Check it out sometime. You might like to post there on occasion......

Only don't ask me about the 'babes section', OK? You have to have a password to get in there or something. So I've never had a peek inside. Heck, at my age, its probably better that way, lol.

lol i agree wht all of you 100% "You know who" plays favorites really really bad, and yes grumpy is really nice, he even offered to help me out finding parts for my 'vette, i still havent called him Embarassed

Glad you joined here and at Grumpy's as well, Jeff. Both are smaller forums than the one you were at before. More like family and friends here than at the larger forums. Grumpy is good people. He helped me of what Automotive lift manufacturers to stay away from and what to look out for.

CT is a good place to go to for the knowledge. but Off topics is where you can get in trouble. My only negative is Iv been a supporting platinum member for 2 years and have not got a reason what all the money or how much money is available to advertise and such, Iv been told its non of my business(not by Tony). So I will not support the site no longer. Have the supporting members run the site with ideas and goals to make the site bigger. I dont have no problem with Tony, but knowing where my money is going would be nice. I view myself as a investor. Investor needs to know the good and bad.

Granted I was labeled as a idiot of such, but I can say that I straightened out. Oh well got to be young and dumb in order to be old and wise.

As a matter of fact i agree with you. However, Tony has 16 sponsors and then supporting members donating cash every year to keep the site alive. If you ask me, Tony wants some extra money in his pocket, otherwise with him already having supporting sponsors, he wouldn't take away from his members. To me that is just selfish
