this has to be one of the coolest videos i've run across. good music too.

these were all movies i loved as a kid growing up in the 80's Very Happy and i do realize these are all from the
60's and '70's.

Though I must admit I was impressed to see Dirty Mary Crazy Larry -- people often forget that one.

Blues brothers, smokey and the bandit, vanishing point (original&remake) dirty Mary crazy Larry, and bullitt. I had never heard of the seven up's, but the chase is awsome. Apparently the maker of the video is fond of Chryslers, as they didnt include the '66 impala...that kept being called a '67 in the movie.

Anyone remember a movie starring Roy Scheider from "Jaws"? I think it was called "Heat" or had that word in the title.It was from the 60's or early 70's and he drove a 68 or 69 Chevelle if my memory serves correctly.It was one hell of a chase scene and it stuck in my mind for years.I really hope someone can dig it up because it really was an intense chase scene.

He was in the seven ups driving a Pontiac Ventura. (1973). There is no movie with heat in the title from that era with him in it according to the internet movie database. A few more movies are gone in 60 seconds(1974). Convoy (1978) cannonball run (1981) and don't forget cobra (1986)

7 ups is great as well as The French Connection. I know some of the places filmed in both movies. I drive on the parkway that the ending of the 7 ups car chase takes place. I know the spot very well where the funeral procession and funeral parlor scenes take place.

I watched that one with the Torino last night. They beat that car up and it had to be the longest car chase I have seen.
