The 74 Olds Pace car Question
I see that the roof was removed and a targa style roll bar installed on the 1974 Olds Pace car. My question is, did they make more than one, like for a back-up? If so where are they? All the Pace cars I have seen have T-tops or hardtop. Also, did Demmer Engineering put in bracing? if so, where, how and what?

I posted that pic in the gallery- I know of only the one with this special treatment. It was to show off Ms. Vaughn in all her glory. There were a few others built but not like that one.

G3 Years @ Indy- 3 out of 5 isn't bad
73 Cadillac Eldorado
74 Hurst Olds
75 Buick Century Free Spirit
76 Buick Century Free Spirit "Regal" Style
77 Olds Delta 88 Coupe
Here are some more cool pics (1974)- there was a four door version built also (1) & check out the pit lane in this pic for some Elco's. Pretty cool- wonder what happened to those?

Yeah it's great...Love the Sedan leading the charge. They look like they're in a half mile long caravan.

Re: The 74 Olds Pace car Question
Here's a few more
Found this too...."C 3500" GMC (which would prob mean those Elco's are Sprints)
I guess if you're Olds, you don't want no stinkin' Chevy's on your big day...LOL
