Almost every part of a 32 Ford is reproduced, but once a G3 is gone, it's gone forever. JB

Re: Almost to 1000 Members
shoot I was just saying maybe take some fluffy and plastic interior pieces out, pull out the bench seat or worn out swivel buckets, put some seats with bolsters in there, add a four point with swing out down bars, lighten it up with some fiberglass bits, trim those heavy bumpers and then go racing, not in a hit to pass event or figure eight, just some autocross, open road course events, quarter mile and some late night runs.
Not demolition derby it and then scrap it, just a nice race/street car build.

Re: Almost to 1000 Members
All I can say is, there are WAY more g3's out there than I thought were still around. I say save the low milage time capsule cars and the special editions etc... But if you want to modify a common one, then have at it and more power to ya! I love seeing all these cool projects, especially pro tour type builds, but PLEASE let the survivors survive a little longer... Tom from Phoenix.

Re: Almost to 1000 Members
I had a '73 Chevelle plain-jane 2-door car that should have been used in circle track or whatever.
No tinted windows, inline-six, 3-speed on the column, rubber floor mat ( no carpet) no radio, etc. a real cheapo from the factory.
I put a 307 in it that I had around here, and drove it to work for a couple of years.
Then I sold it to my brother in-law. He deserved it....
