DFW: Clear Blue Sky Rally announced
CLEAR BLUE SKY RALLY
This road rally will show off some pretty roads in Grayson County, and a few in Collin County as well. To keep you from getting bored on this fun trip, there will be a few course-following tests, designed to see how well you can follow the rules, and to keep you from getting lost if you go the wrong way. Signs and landmarks that you find will tell us which way you went.

Re: DFW: Clear Blue Sky Rally announced
Nineteen cars are already entered in the Clear Blue Sky Rally. It looks like we will have about 40 entrants. Cars included so far are: BMW, Lancia, Mazda3, Mustang, Mini, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen. So far Subaru is the only marque with enough cars to form a Team; it takes a minimum of three. The route is about 120 miles long, and includes some twisty and very pretty roads. It was all paved when we laid it out; they are working on one road, and if they don't finish by rally day, there may be several short stretches of good gravel.
If you have never run one of our rallies, you are missing a fun event. There is a "First-Timer" class, so you won't be competing against experts.
If you want to run the rally, but cannot do it on Saturday July 13, why not run it free on another day? We need a pre-check team to run the event to check for errors. You pick the day. Contact me at rally@texasscca.org.
