Junkyard in New England?
Junkyard in New England?
Hi Guyz
I fly in the September for a Roadtrip to Boston MA.
I was last year in Las Vegas on a junkyard with a lot of 70s and 80s Gm Cars. I found a lot of parts for my Chevy Caprice.
Anyone knows a good Junkyard with older Cars in New England? I like ''Pick a Part'' Junkyards.
Thanks a lot for your Informations!

Re: Junkyard in New England?
The only place that has any of our cars around me (within reasonable distance of Boston) is out in Hudson, MA. Not much left on them however...What parts are you looking for?

Re: Junkyard in New England?
You might get lucky on the interior parts- louvers are difficult to find. I have a pair I bought from mcarlo77 (member here on the site). He has a few good yards in his neck of the woods in Minnesota- maybe he can help you with the louvers. They're also on ebay from time to time. If you want- I can send you the info for this yard they had a 73 Monte, 76 Chevelle 4 door, 73 Le Mans & and almost totally gone El Camino- that just about the only thing left is the frame...lol

Re: Junkyard in New England?
That guy over on Chevy Talk with the '73-'77 Chevy parts has a set of louvers he's willing to give away. Looks like one has a couple screw holes drilled in the front, but those can be filled if necessary.

Go to the "Free Stuff" thread here and click on link someone provided to the Chevy Talk forum. The guy on that site is offering to give parts away for cost of shipping. One pic shows a pair of louvers.
