Not that im going to but i thought it would be pretty cool idea to put a Diesel motor in a chevelle/laguna. you get great gas MPG's, and the power would be something to be reconded with, anyone ever seen this done?
I know we had a Bronco with a 6.2 Powerstroke that thing got 25-30 in the city...and would just fly down the road.

There were a few late generation El Caminos built with diesels, but I don't know which engine they used.

There are a few diesel conversions in the previous gen that have been done, but they appear to be on the difficult side of fabrication.

I remember one of the more note worthy episodes of pimp my ride, it was all about fuel efficiency and economy, The Governator even made an appearance. But they put a bio-diesel motor in a 60's Impala.
