Back in the 60s, some women drove into the Saginaw river by accident, at night. It took a while to find out where they went. A side street went down to the street along the river, and the didn't stop & drove into the river. The driver may have had a few too many at the hotel bar....
Not a very nice way to die....

Read this story yesterday on another forum. Kind of creepy when you think of how many people came and went from that boat ramp over the years when all the while those bodies were right below them in 12' of water. Still makes me wonder how, not one but two, cars full of people met the same fate at the same spot on a paved boat ramp. I mean...how could you not know it's a boat ramp and just drive down into the lake?

There was some uncivilized talk in the comments section over at Yahoo about this story. It never ceases to amaze me how inconsiderate humans can be when they have this huge filter called the "internet" between them and the real world.

I hope they can identify these folks and the families can get some closure and peace
