Dangerous intersections Empty Dangerous intersections

Post by knightfan26917 Tue May 19, 2009 2:30 am

To me, the ironic part of this sidebar from our local paper is that I've driven the intersections MANY times ... and never once felt unsafe at them. Maybe because I'm used to them ... and I know how drivers are in those areas, so I am extra cautious....?

*shrugs*

STILL ... it would be very nice if they were corrected....

Main article about dangerous intersections in the area:

Anyone else encounter these type of intersections regularly?

The only intersections that we have in Indiana are the ones were idiots expect you to babysit them and make sure they don't hit you when you have the right of way. Seriously, I saw a wreck today that woulda been avoided if people still followed the rules of the road. Would it really be that inconvenient to use your turn signal BEFORE your swerve out in front of people?? Or did turn signals become uncool?

EDIT: Now back to the original thread.

Hey Indy,

Turn signals have become uncool. I see that you didn't get that memo, eh?

Wink

Just kidding, of course, but dang, it sure seems that is what happened, doesn't it? I can't tell you how many times on the way back 'n' forth from work some "instances" could be avoided if people used those signals and actually paid MORE attention to ... oh, I don't know ... driving, maybe???

Aye aye aye.

That would require someone to hang up, stop texting , eating breakfast, combing your hair and watching T.V.
It's hard to use a turn signal lever or a steering wheel when you have your hands full with so much other stuff!
WOW!, you guys act like you should be paying attention to the road and traffic while you drive!!!
