i love that color is that the buckskin ?? would love to incorperate that color somehow into limey but lime green and that color and black not so much o well......just noticed as well is that his garage in a residential AND NO fire suppression (that i seen anyways) LOL for the spraying, hope he has good neighbors. or he must paint alot of ther cars to keep them quiet LMAO

its a body shop thats been in the same spot for 25 yrs. in the first pic is one of many extinguisers,and the second pic shows the paint booth.... so the neighborhood must be user friendly.


BTW---I think he said the color is taupe (tope)

Finally got around to getting some up to date pics of the monte.It has been buffed and glazed and pinstripes added.The interior is in but not permanently,it was easier to temperately put it in the car,than keep moving it around to different spots.

Chris, your friend's car is looking extra sharp indeed!! I love the quality of that paint job. The pinstripes I like much better than the factory Landau ones; I had those on my first Monte, the green 73 S. Do you know the official story on those pinstripes, because I've never seen any evidence they were done at the factory or dealer? But they naturally complement the fantastic lines of the second generation Monte. The ones on my first Monte were painted on and looked professional, but I've never heard if they were done by the dealer or factory or what.
