That's pretty cool! Car Craft show is awesome!
Just got off the phone with a guy new in town as of this past June who hails from KY. He's got a '75 Laguna in storage down there and hopes to get it up here in the Spring. He was just telling me how much he loved his first Car Craft show! Hopefully, we can all get a spot together next summer and make a real G3 showing.

Don't know if the bu would make it. Maybe if I could get my new engine built by then.

It's fun to go to every other year or so but it's too crowded...I like to cruise around a little and when you move your car it's hard to find a place to park again. Usually see a few guys overheating looking for a place to park...I took my cuda there one year and that was a mistake it was running so hot. The Malibu runs nice an cool for having a 400 so that was nice.

Mine ran a little hot this year trying to get through the crowd here as well. I don't have a fan shroud though.

Back to fifties is worse that car craft. Lots of green antifreeze striping on road at that show.
For me I like car craft better. I plan to be there next year so we will have to do Cell phone number swaps to at least find each other.

Re: My Malibu a week after I got it
Was think about trying to go. Â Found that the shortest route from where I live is about 821 miles. Â That would be at least 6 tanks of gas. Â For a 22 gallon tank at 3.50/gallon that is 77.00. Â 6 tanks of gas would be about 462.00 round trip just for gas. Â Even if I could afford it the wife would kill me, Â Would love to go though.
I found that even at 20 mpg that would still be around 4 tanks.
